The Icebreaker a Huge Success!

February 13, 2009 Leave a comment

We want to thank everyone who attended our first event, the Bowness Icebreaker, for making it a huge success.  We’d also like to thank all the business from within Bowness that donated materials and prizes.

IMG_7335The Sportsplex was packed from start to finish and the Bownesians entertained everyone with a wonderful afternoon of great music.  Everyone was busy as trike races zoomed back and forth while the coloring contest proved that Bowness has a budding young group of artists!  Families enjoyed the bounce castle, public skating, face painting, and temporary tattoos as well as the tunes of the Bownesians. Check out the photos!

The Icebreaker was our way of saying hello to the community of Bowness and really getting the word out there that your Bowness Community Association is up and running and here to support you.  We kicked off our membership drive and if anyone is interested in joining, please refer to the Membership page on this website.

Please leave a comment on this site if you attended and let us know what you thought!  Let’s get talking!
