As a non-profit service organization endeavouring to make life easier for those in need, members are all volunteers who raise funds from fun casino rentals and BBQs. The Royal Canadian Legion Bowness Branch 238 is open to the public Stampede week, with a whopping line-up of Stampede fun!

  • Kids Carnival: July 10, from 11 a.m., free admission with donation to the Boys & Girls Club
  • Legion Stampede Breakfasts: July 10/11 and July 17/18, 9–11 a.m., cost $3.50
  • Seniors Stampede Breakfast: July 12, 9–11 a.m., with entertainment by Mary Resek, cost $2.00
  • Seniors BBQ Steak Dinner: July 14, 3–5 p.m., with entertainment by Bob & Julie, cost $4.50
  • Nightly BBQ Steaks: July 9 through July 18, 6–9pm, cost $8.50
  • Nightly Entertainment: 7–11 p.m.
